sausage bow-tie pasta.

Brown 1/2 lb Italian sausage (I did Hot Sausage and added Italian seasoning) in a large pan, add a dash of red pepper flakes.
Add 1/2 cup chopped onion and 2 garlic cloves, minced, with a little olive oil.
When onions are translucent and cooked, add 1-26oz can Italian diced tomatoes (I just did regular),drained, and 1 1/2 cups heavy cream (I substituted some with milk). Cover and let simmer 20 mins.

Stir in 1 lb. COOKED bow-tie noodles and combine. (I had to let the pasta simmer for a few more minutes with the noodles in order to get the sauce to the right consistency).
Add salt and pepper and some Parmesan cheese to taste.
We served with warm cheesy bread sticks.

I am going to start adding ratings to my dishes, so:
my husband (who is not the biggest fan of cream pastas) rated it 7/10
and I (who am a BIG fan of creamy pastas) rated it 8/10.
This dish definitely had good flavor. If you are sensitive to garlic and onions you may want to cut the garlic down to one clove. Overall a tasty comfort dish and the hot sausage gave it a nice kick.
