chili.


1 lb ground beef
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 15 oz can kidney beans (with liquid)
1 15 oz can pinto beans (with liquid)
1/2 cup diced onion
1/4 cup diced green chilis
1/8 cup diced celery (1/2 a stalk)
2 small tomatoes, chopped
1 tsp. cumin
1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
3/4 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 cup water

brown ground beef in skillet and drain fat. in large pot combine ground beef and all other ingredients. bring to simmer over low heat. cook, stirring every 15 minutes for 2 to 3 hours.

i put all my ingredients in a crockpot. then cooked on high for 3 hours and low for 4 more hours.

top with cheese, sour cream and any other desired toppings.
